Albergo Il Monastero Geremeas. The hotel Il Monastero is located along the coast road from
Cagliari to Villasimius, near the beach in Kal'e Moru at about 40 km from Cagliari. The
geographic location makes it unique: nestled in the hills and greenery, on the outskirts of the natural park "Sette Fratelli" and only 1000 meters from the sea, that can be reached on foot in 10 minutes. The rooms of the hotel are 39, all with air conditioning and private bathrooms and furnished with
wrought iron beds and antique wooden furniture. The
Monastero hotel stands on the very same lands of the ancient village or
Geremeas, destroyed by the Moors during one of their many barbarian
incursions that plagued Sardinia. The lands, consisting of a beautiful valley in a horse hoof shape and bordering with the hills of Cuccuriello, Is Campanilis, Cabriolu and Bruncu Cinus, were purchased by the Elder
Gavino Cocco of Ozieri, in the second half of the 1700’s. After the death of Gavino Cocco, the lands were inherited by the Jesuits, who used them for the
