Shot during the winter season of January and February 2015 around Chicago over the course of 4 weeks. All shot in temperatures ranging between -6 to 20 degrees F. After the huge popularity of my first winter video I became determined to create something even more spectacular showcasing the beauty of winter in Chicago. I honestly hate cold weather but when I would get home and review the footage I shot it would inspire me to continue shooting. I also wanted to show off the quad copter itself more and how it looks flying in the sky. Really tested the limits of the DJI Phantom 2 and GoPro Hero 4 and DJI Inspire 1. The Phantom held up very well in the cold with no issues at all. The GoPro shooting in 4K would not last much more than 10 minutes before needing a battery change which was disappointing since it's supposed to be a camera for the "extreme" users. The DJI Inspire 1 handled the cold just fine but the iPad or iPhone I would use to display the live video feed from the drone would stop working from being too cold.
