Hamnavoe and Scalloway

Shetland Islands, United Kingdom/Hazy late summer conditions in Burra Isle and Scalloway, Shetland. We take a trip to the stunning Sands of Meal near Hamnavoe with its white sands and crystal clear waters – a popular spot with island residents – before heading to Hamnavoe itself, a picturesque village with a sheltered harbour and marina. As the day draws to a close and the mist rolls in we take in a beautiful sunset over Scalloway, the once capital town of Shetland.Shot with a GoPro Hero 3 Black at 1080/25 and Zenmuse H3-3D gimbal on a DJI Phantom 2 quadcopter. Rendered in 21:9 HD ultra widescreen. Music is „Morning Placidity” by Kai Engel, from the album „Deathless: The Renaissance”.Welcome to The Shetland Flyer’s Vimeo profile!
