HardWater Sailing on Delavan Feb 5th 2016 Delavan Wisconsin United States - Every winter weekend when the ice is smooth, you'll see a lot of iceboats out sailing across the water at up to 5 times the speed of the wind (nifty trick). Moderate winds so nothing topping 60mph but a great day out on the lake none the less.Great lake to be running today. Smooth ice with just a thin covering of dry powder. 10 to 15 in the morning made for some sporty sailing.
