Sebastian Inlet State Park

Sebastian Inlet State Park Florida, United States. The beaches in Vero Beach located in Indian River County are part of Florida's Treasure Coast. The beaches in Vero Beach tend to be less crowded than the larger metropolitan areas in Florida, and thus a great vacation spot for those that want to really experience the beach with out massive crowds. Vero's three main public beaches are South Beach, accessible at the eastern end of State Road 656 at the eastern end of 17th Street; Humiston Park, in Vero's Central Beach Business District on Ocean Drive and Jaycee Park which is adjacent to Conn Beach. There are 26 miles of oceanfront shore in Indian River County. Vero Beach also has other free public access trails and walkways with beach access, such as Riomar Beach, Sea Cove, Sea Grape Trail, Sexton Plaza, and Turtle Trail. Vero Beach is very dog friendly. We stayed at the Costa d' Este Hotel & Spa while shooting this video, very happy with the service and friendliness of the staff, excellent clean rooms. We did a wedding at the Vero Beach Hotel & Spa, which also seem to be pretty nice as well and is also Dog Friendly. Between the Vero Beach Hotel & Costa d' Este is the Holiday Inn Vero Beach. For more information on Vero Beach see www.verobeach.com Sebastian Inlet is located 14 miles north of Vero Beach, known for its two jetties. One of the jetties is a long pier which leads out into the Atlantic Ocean. In 1924 jetties made of coquina rock were completed. They only lasted until the first big storm though when big waves rolled almost all the rocks away. Eventually granite, a much denser rock than coquina, was used and the jeeties became a permanent fixture For more information see www.floridastateparks.org/park/Sebastian-Inlet Video shot by Tampa Aerial Photographers Dave & Randy with Celebrations of Tampa Bay
