We fly from Siesta Key to Longboat Key in this aerial video of the Gulf Coast Beaches of Sarasota. We start in the south at Siesta Key, which regularly ranks as the #1 beach in the U.S.A. Siesta Key is a barrier island situated between Roberts Bay and the Gulf of Mexico. Siesta Key is also very popular for destination weddings.To the north of Siesta Key is Lido Key. We start in a park at the southern edge of the key, which was the least crowded of the beaches, and alot of trees provide plenty of shade. Lido Key beach is one of Sarasota's most interesting and varied waterfront locations, and next to St. Armands Circle, which is a hub of elegant shopping and dining. The largest resort is Lido Beach Resort, also very popular with destination weddings.Next to Lido Key is St Armand's Key, known for its very popular island shopping center, St Armand's Circle with some excellent outdoor dining.Heading north from St Armand's Key is Longboat Key. Longboat Key is equally divided between Manatee & Sarasota Counties. Much of the land area of Longboat Key is occupied by either single-family homes or condominium apartments. Most of the condominium associations co-own common elements which comprise pools, tennis courts, sites with water views and access to beaches. At the southern end of Longboat Key is The Resort at Longboat Key Club
