Appalachian Ski Mountain Opening Weekend at App Ski Mtn 2014 Ski Mountain Road, Blowing Rock, NC, United States Aerial footage was captured on Saturday November 22nd which was opening weekend at Appalachian Ski Mountain. Crowds were minimal, snow was perfect, and the terrain parks had some great features, making this one of the best opening weekends in recent memory.
