Edited with Premier/After Effects Graded with Colorista II and Film Convert sbgfilms.net facebook.com/SBGfilms twitter - @SBGfilms Bart’s Bash is the world’s largest sailing event that is run by sailing clubs, community sailing programmes, sail training centres, yacht clubs, scout groups, sea cadets and even groups of sailors, all around the world.The main aim of the event is to increase participation in sailing, even further across the world, with the ultimate goal of one day becoming the world’s biggest sporting event.The first Bart’s Bash event saw over 700 sailing clubs from more than 60 different countries take part in their own individual Bart’s Bash race at their location, helping to encourage more people to get on the water and enjoying a day’s sailing. In January 2015 Bart’s Bash was awarded a Guinness World Record for the largest sailing race in 24 hours.All Bart’s Bash participants are encouraged to fund raise for the Foundation which is already undertaking a range of sustainable projects, using sailing to transform the lives of children and young people globally.The money raised will be granted out through a formal grant giving process from the ASSF. This will allow charities and not-for-profit sailing initiatives and organisations across the world to apply for a grant of up to £10,000.The process will be open from Thursday 1st October – Monday 02nd November 2015.
