castle and stay in one of our nine elegant castle rooms,
steeped in history. They are located in the ‘lower castle’ which was built in the 17th century. In the castle annexe, adjacent to the
castle wall, there are 32 comfortable and spacious apartments with balcony or terrace, TV, bathroom and kitchen. There are also 14 colourful attic rooms with TV and shower. All rooms benefit from the quiet location of the castle at the forest edge and the view of the castle lake. Our wedding suite provides peace and space for preparing the big day.The impressive Lockenhaus castle is the only castle in
Austria boasting the typical features of a knight’s castle. Roman and Gothic architectural styles, frescoes, a
subterranean sanctuary, the Great Hall, the crypt and other elaborate structures
