The Great Holy Relics Pagoda/Twin Stupas Doi Inthanon/Nabhapolbhumisiri Chang Khoeng ,Chiang Mai,Thailand/The Twin Royal Stupas dedicated to His Majesty The King and Queen of Thailand.Located at the summit of Doi Inthanon National Park, the Twin Royal Stupas (Phra Maha Dhatu Nabha Metaneedol and Nabhapol Bhumisiri) is a must-see attraction in Chiang Mai. The stupas were built by the Royal Thai Air Force to commemorate Their Majesties The King’s and Queen’s 60th Birthday Anniversary in 1987 and 1992 respectively.Standing gracefully at an elevation of 2146 meters above sea level, the stupas enshrine the relics of the Lord Buddha and Buddha images; one called Naphamethinidon (delicated to His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej of Thailand), meaning ‘by the strength of the land and air’, and the other, Naphaphonphumisiri (delicated to Her Majesty Queen Sirikit of Thailand), meaning ‘being the strength of the air and the grace of the land’. Great Holy Relics Pagoda - the best aerial videos
