Alternatively, spacious holiday apartments are available for small and large families alike in our guesthouse, the Mondmuschel. The Hotel Haus am Meer has been a family business since 1922. As seaside resorts became increasingly popular, the original boarding house was converted into what is today a modern hotel with three residential locations: the Rodehuus: and the Wittehuus: – both are located at the water’s edge and enjoy North Sea views – as does the guesthouse Mondmuschel:, which is located near by. Since 1972, these three locations have been run by Birgit Brune, granddaughter of the Siede family, with great devotion, energy and a love of detail. The interior decor of each hotel room has been arranged individually with character and minimalist design.
