Hume Hotel and Spa Welcome to the Hume Hotel & Spa, your boutique home-away-from-home hotel in Nelson, BC. Since 1898, the Hume has been the focal point and gathering place for locals and visitors alike, the perfect venue to reconnect with old friends, rekindle old flames, or to meet new faces from across the street, or the other side of the globe.In 2015, we saw the completion of our new 2nd Floor which brought on 6 new Deluxe Rooms and Aura Spa & Salon. We now have 36 new Deluxe Guestrooms which have been received with much fan fare as well as a Romance Package which can be booked by phoning in. The new rooms feature air-conditioning, granite countertops, flat screen TVs, fridges, irons and ironing boards, enhanced amenities and beautiful new furniture, beds, linens and drapery. All of the 45 private, well appointed rooms are each as unique as the character features evident throughout the hotel. Original fixtures, design-work and craftsmanship are augmented by modern, environmentally conscious amenities. No details have been overlooked, and yes, free wireless internet comes standard.We are currently undergoing the final room renovations on the east wing of the third floor which is seeing our 'Heritage Rooms' finally upgraded to bring them up to the standard with the rest of our guest rooms.Come stay with us and experience gracious, unpretentious Kootenay hospitality at its finest.
