Sahalee Country Club

Sahalee Country Club

Sahalee Country Club was designed by noted golf course architect Ted Robinson with later renovations by Rees Jones. It has been consistently ranked in the top 100 courses in America by Golf Digest for over 30 years. This all weather, year round course is characteristically Northwest with majestic Douglas fir, red cedar and hemlock trees lining its narrow fairways. Sahalee's 27-holes consist of three 9-hole courses of equal caliber (the North, South and East course), any two of which can be combined to a standard 18-hole course. This arrangement eliminates the need for call-ahead starting times and promotes greater freedom of play for all members. And, while some of golf's greatest have competed here in championship play, Sahalee caters to players of all ages and abilities. A wide variety of tee boxes on every hole accommodate different skill levels and afford everyone opportunities for success and continued challenge.Sahalee was first envisioned in 1965, when two separate groups of golf club members - one from Inglewood Country Club, the other from Broadmoor Golf Club - decided concurrently that the greater Seattle area was in need of another championship golf course. The endeavor began to take shape in the summer of 1966 as the two groups merged to form Par Golf, Inc. The development of a superlative golf course depends upon the acquisition of property ideally suited for its layout. Par Golf, Inc.'s search ended in early 1967 when the land that was to become Sahalee was found on the Sammamish Plateau east of Redmond, WA/Sahalee Country Club in Sammamish Washington by TUK Productions/TUK Productions is a Seattle based film company focused on creating breathtaking aerial video and photography.
