Each of our guest rooms and apartments are individually decorated and personally designed by the Hambi family, using British designers and local suppliers wherever possible. We take great pride in supporting the “best of British”.In 2012 we completed an ambitious refurbishment project, which included the seamless installation of our lift. The lift has been a great improvement for The Windermere as walking through our classical Victorian building with its traditionally narrow corridors is now much easier for the weary traveller. We take pride in our building, our location and our hotel. Never complacent, we always seek to improve our facilities. For example, all guest rooms are now fully air-conditioned. This has been a most welcome upgrade. All of us at The Windermere take pride in what we do, and will always strive to make you feel at home whilst you are with us.
