Once complete the bridge, at 440 m (1,440 ft), will be one of the highest in world. It will also be one of the longest cable-stayed bridges with a main span of 800 m (2,600 ft). The western tower is 258.2 m (847 ft) placing it amongst the tallest bridges in the world. The eastern tower is 243.2 m (798 ft). The bridge will cross the Yachi River between Qianxi County in Bijie and Qingzhen in Guiyang. The bridge will carry traffic on the Guiyang to Qianxi Expressway.
