The deep blue truss deck rises almost 260 meters above a shallow reservoir between a forested valley of green in the remote mountains of southern Hubei Province. The two main towers are among the twenty tallest bridge structures on earth rising 245 meters from foundation to top - even taller then the Golden Gate Bridge. There are 64 pairs of cable stays with a diameter of 7 mm. The longest measures 222 meters and weighs 15 tons. The span configuration is 3x30 +46+134+400+134+46 +5x40 meters. The bridge is located midway between Enshi, Hubei and Yongshun, Hunan.
