DJI Phantom2 GPH3B Flight log : San Diego Velodrome Northpark San Diego Velodrome Association, Florida Drive, San Diego, CA, United States. The San Diego Velodrome Association (SDVA) is a public benefit, membership-based nonprofit corporation {501(c)4} granted a Special Use Permit by the City of San Diego Park and Recreation to promote, encourage and support bicycle track riding and racing. Riders are encouraged to join the San Diego Velodrome (become an SDVA member) to promote the sport of track racing for themselves, their family and friends, and the public. It takes a great deal of member support (financial and time) to keep the track open, rideable and raceable. The City pays for the lights and water, and repairs selected problems. SDVA members pay for everything else--the fence surrounding the track and everything inside it; upkeep and repairs of the track, infield, bikes, and storage containers; security; insurance; racing licenses; adult and kids class instructors; trash collection; etc. Members are provided the access code to the track and may ride the track during Open Hours--any time the track is not being used for scheduled adult or kids classes, scheduled VeloYouth classes, scheduled racing, or other scheduled events (swap meet, etc.). Members receive discounts on racing at scheduled Tuesday Night Racing (TNR) and Friday Night Racing (FNR). Non-members may ride on the track during Public Hours, Saturday and Wednesday mornings 9:00 a.m. - noon under the supervision of a track steward. Riders in adult and kids classes are not required to be members; they ride on the track under the supervision of a class instructor. At all other times, riders and coaches on the track MUST be members.Membership costs vary: adult vs. junior, volunteer vs. non-volunteer, and individualrider vs. affiliate club member, www.sdvelodrome.com thundercloud
