History Bearing in mind the group’s versatile activities, the Mitsis Hotels logo is representative of the company founder’s attitude towards life, for the last 40 years or so: a forward-looking, target-oriented figure. The first knitting factory is established on September 5th, 1954. It signals the beginning of a long, successful career, which evolves at a quick pace. While the first hotel unit only operates in 1976, today, hospitality has become the group’s main activity.
