Hrad Fuzer / Füzér Castle Hungary. Hrad Füzér bol postavený za Štefana V. na začiatku šesťdesiatych rokov 13. storočia. Patrí medzi najstaršie pevnosti Maďarska. Je momentálne v čiastočnej rekonštrukcii. Milovníkov histórie iste zaujme fakt, že sa tam v roku 1612 zopár mesiacov skrývala aj krvilačná grófka Alžbeta Bátoriová, ktorej sa na Füzér podarilo uniknúť z väzenia na Čachtickom hrade. Hrad Füzér je jedno z mnohých opevnení, ktoré tu postavili pred ochranou proti Turkom.The ruins of Füzér Castle stand on a solitary rock cone at the edge of the village. It was built by the designs of "Blind" Anoronicus at the beginning of the 13th century. It was expanded in the 14th and 15th centuries. It was ruined at the end of the 18th century. Its architectural characteristics include stone remains in lace form. The entire castle hill is a protected historic site with protected plants and animals. The reconstruction of the castle has only lately begun in earnest. A significant part of the castle walls are standing, the most in tact is its beautiful, two-store Gothic chapel and renewed shingle roof structure. The renewed casle chapel was inaugurated in 2002.It is likely that one of the members of the Aba family ordered to build the castle. It was first mentioned in a charter from 1264.  www.fuzer.hu
